Karolina Makiyan

Karolina Makiyan currently serves as a Health Benefits Case Manager at the Jewish Vocational Service of Kansas City since March 2023. Prior to this role, Karolina worked as an Administrative Assistant at AIDCARETRANSPORTATION, LLC from May 2019 to March 2023, where responsibilities included supporting administrative staff, managing rider information, and training prospective drivers. Additionally, Karolina held the position of President for the Art Hawks at the University of Iowa from January 2019 to May 2022, successfully recruiting over 50 new members each semester and fostering collaborations with other student organizations. Karolina began their career as a Dining Hall Associate at the University of Iowa, where general maintenance duties and customer service were key responsibilities. Karolina earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology, Law and Justice and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Iowa between 2018 and 2022, following a high school diploma from Valley High School obtained in 2018.
