Steve Parkins has extensive experience in financial management and leadership roles. Steve worked as a Senior Accountant at Ernst&Young from 1984 to 1988 before transitioning to the healthcare industry. From 1994 to 1998, they served as CFO at Cardinal Healthcare, where they managed a large team and led financial analysis and budgeting. Steve then joined Virginia Physicians Inc. as CFO, overseeing accounting and purchasing departments. In this role, they successfully implemented a physician compensation plan that significantly increased productivity. From 2000 to 2007, they worked as the Finance Director at Instructive Visiting Nurse Association, where they were responsible for the organization's financial operations and secured additional funding for the agency through a successful proposal. Steve currently serves as CFO at Jewish Family Services of Richmond, directing all financial aspects of the community nonprofit organization.
Steve Parkins holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech.
