Shannan Colangelo

Shannan Colangelo is currently the VP of Purchasing and Customer Support at JG Wentworth. Shannan has held this position since April of 2013. Prior to that, they were the Director of Sales Operations for JGWPT from September 2011 to April 2013. Before their time at JGWPT, Colangelo was an Admissions Counselor at Widener University from October 2008 to September 2011. In this role, they coordinated all on-campus recruitment events for prospective students and was responsible for the direct yield of students for the Schools of Business and Nursing through independently creating marketing and communication tracks. Additionally, they planned and developed recruitment strategies within assigned geographic territories, conducted presentations at various on and off-campus recruitment functions, and interviewed prospective students and families to discuss admission into Widener University.

Colangelo began their career in 2006 as the Assistant Volleyball Coach at Haverford College, a position they held until 2009. Shannan then transitioned into the world of finance, first as a Senior Paralegal at J.G. Wentworth from June 2006 to October 2008, and then as the Senior Vice President of Debt Settlement at JG Wentworth from October 2008 to June 2011. In their current role as VP of Purchasing and Customer Support, Colangelo is responsible for overseeing the purchasing department and ensuring that JG Wentworth's customers are satisfied with their products and services.

Shannan Colangelo has a Bachelor of Science in Management from Gettysburg College and a Masters in Business Administration and Human Resource Management and Organizational Leadership from Widener University. Shannan also went to Ridley High School.
