David James, PMP

David James, PMP has over 30 years of experience in work related to industrial base analysis, national defense, policy and strategy, logistics, and supply chain operations. Their current role is Senior Industrial Base Analyst and Program Manager at JHNA. Prior to this, they worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as an Associate National Defense Expert. David also served in the US Army, where they held various leadership positions. During their Army career, they served in Iraq as DCS Logistics LNO and Chief, Material/Equipment Readiness Analysis. David has also worked in the private sector as a Manufacturing Project Manager at Applied Materials. Throughout their career, David has gained a portfolio of skills and expertise that they continue to leverage in delivering effective results.

David James, PMP has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Western Illinois University, which they earned from 1983-1987. David then attended Central Michigan University from 1996-1998 and obtained a Master of Science in Human Resources Management. In 2012, they completed the Defense Strategy Course from The United States Army War College. In 2013-2014, James earned a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies and National Security from U.S. Naval War College. David also obtained a Project Management Professional certification from Project Management Institute in June 2017 and completed a program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in August 2019.
