Kirk Kloeppel

UAS Engineer at JHNA

Kirk Kloeppel has extensive experience in engineering, program management, and military planning. Kirk has held various leadership roles throughout their career, working for JHNA and MTSI as a UAS engineer and program manager respectively. Kloeppel has also worked with the Air Force Research Lab as a director and as the Acting Director, Deputy Director, and Chief on two different projects. In addition, they were a student at the Air War College, served as the acting director at Warner Robins ALC, and worked at Headquarters United States Air Force, US Joint Forces Command, and US Atlantic Command as a Plan and Programs Officer and Aide-de-camp. Their work experience stretches from 1997 to the present day.

Kirk Kloeppel has a diverse education background. Kirk attended Tom C. Clark High School from 1978 to 1980 before pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering at Texas A&M University from 1980 to 1984. In 1985, they earned their Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Dayton. Later, in 1991, they attended Squadron Officer's School, followed by Air Command and Staff College in 1996, Joint Command and Staff College in 1999, and Air War College at Air University from 2002 to 2004. In 2018, they earned their Master of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on Strategy Development from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Additionally, Kirk has several certifications, including Six Sigma Green Belt, Project Management Professional, Systems Engineering, and more.
