Chris Johnson

Chris Johnson has extensive experience in business development within the nonprofit sector, currently serving as Senior Manager for New Program Development at Jhpiego since August 2019, where successful proposals include major initiatives funded by USAID and other organizations. Previously, Chris was a Senior Business Development Specialist at CARE, managing USG proposals across various sectors, and held the position of Business Development Manager at Catholic Relief Services, overseeing a team and fostering interdepartmental collaboration. With earlier roles at Abt Associates, FHI 360, and AED, Chris demonstrated expertise in proposal management, quality control, and business intelligence. Chris holds an Executive Certificate in Innovation and Human Centered Design from The Johns Hopkins University and a BA in History from Wake Forest University.
