Mivumbi Ndicunguye Victor MD, Mmed, Msc, FCOG (ECSA) is an experienced medical professional currently serving as the Technical Director for Jhpiego since March 2021, overseeing the implementation of the Barame Project focused on maternal and child health (MNCH). In addition, Mivumbi holds the position of Senior Quality & Mentorship Specialist at IntraHealth International, contributing to the USAID-funded Ingobyi Activity, which aims to improve healthcare for mothers and children in Rwanda. Additionally, Mivumbi is a Senior Advisor for Reproductive Health and Maternal, Child, and Newborn Health at MCSP/Jhpiego and has been involved with the Ministry of Health (MoH) since September 2012 in areas related to maternal and newborn health. Mivumbi's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Disease Control/Reproductive Health from the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Belgium, a Master's Degree in Obstetrics & Gynecology, and a Doctor of Medicine from NUR, alongside ongoing fellowship training in Global Women's Health at The Johns Hopkins University.
