Naomi Downey

Naomi Downey has extensive experience in fundraising, communications, and management roles. Naomi is currently working as the Vice President of External Relations, Fundraising, and Communications at Jhpiego. Prior to this, Naomi worked as a contract consultant for various organizations. From 2018 to 2022, they served as the Managing Director at Empatico, where they oversaw philanthropic support, partnerships, marketing, communications, and program operations. Before that, they were the Director of Development at the Child Mind Institute in 2017 and a Consultant at City Harvest in 2016. From 2015 to 2016, Naomi held the position of Vice President of Fund Development at Feeding Westchester, where they were responsible for fundraising, marketing, and communications. Naomi also worked as a Senior Director at City Harvest from 2006 to 2015, managing fundraising strategies and relationships with donors and sponsors. Prior to that, they held various roles at organizations such as City Parks Foundation, JCC in Manhattan, and Carnegie Hall.
