Róbert Elís Villalobos

Róbert Elís Villalobos has been working in the software development industry since 2020. Róbert Elís began their career as a Junior Software Developer for Jiko and then moved on to become a Software Engineer Intern for the same company. Róbert Elís also took on an Artificial Intelligence Intern role at Genki Instruments, where they worked on a 3-month research project on time series classifiers for a wearable accelerometer + gyroscope combo. Prior to this, they worked as an Inventory Accountant, Shift Manager and Staff at Hagkaup hf. from 2014 to 2020. As a Shift Manager, they were responsible for managing a team of cashiers, counting and reconciling cash and card payments in a large retail business, as well as light HR work and situation defusion.

Róbert Elís Villalobos completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering from Reykjavik University between 2018 and 2021. Prior to that, they graduated from Reykjavik Junior College in 2018 with a degree in Physics.
