Valdimar Jónsson

Valdimar Jónsson began their career in 2015 as CFO for Convex ehf. In 2017, they moved to Marel as a Software Developer. In 2018, they joined Siminn as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for building and maintaining the tv content provisioning system of Sjónvarp Símans and designing and implementing a system to succeed the workflow engine part of the provisioning system. Valdimar also built and replaced the old legacy authentication system for residential customers and was the system architect in integrating Ljósleiðarinn to internal systems. In 2022, they joined Jiko as a Software Engineer.

Valdimar Jónsson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Reykjavik University between 2015 and 2018.
