Anke B. has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and communications. Anke started their career as a working student in PR at LebherzKommunikation, where they gained experience in writing press releases and planning press events. Anke then worked as a bachelor thesis student at mind store Marketing, followed by an internship as a PR consultant at fischerAppelt.

In 2014, Anke joined car2go Group GmbH as an Online Marketing professional before moving on to GoCustomized, where they were responsible for online marketing activities and social media strategy for the German website. Anke also completed their Master's thesis on international social media strategy during their time at GoCustomized.

Anke then worked as a Junior Site Manager at Kleding.nl for a short period before joining Travix International as a Content & Campaign Manager. In this role, they gained experience in online marketing, writing SEO content, and executing promotional campaigns for travel brands in the DACH region.

In 2017, Anke joined FlixBus as a Content Marketing Manager, where they were responsible for managing content for the German and Dutch websites, as well as coordinating with external content writers and bloggers. Anke later joined Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts as a Social Media Manager, where they handled all social media activities for Jaz in the City, including content creation, blogger and influencer marketing, and brand management.

Most recently, Anke joined Jimdo as a Senior Social Media Community Manager, supporting small businesses and self-employed individuals. Anke also successfully launched their own web shop using Jimdo's platform. Anke B. received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Media Business with a focus on PR and Communication Management from Hochschule Mittweida in 2011. In 2013, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Communications, New Media & Information Technologies, as well as Afrikaans, from Nelson Mandela University. Anke pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Corporate Communications at Stuttgart Media University from 2014 to 2016. In 2015, Anke B. also briefly attended Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences where they studied International Minor: Web 3.0 and Knowledge Sharing in cooperation with PwC.
