Ashok Chawdhary

Ashok Chawdhary has extensive experience in telecom operations and project management, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Field Operations at Jio since December 2018, overseeing one of the largest 4G, 5G, FTTH, and Enterprise Telecom networks globally. Prior to this role, Ashok held the position of Vice President of Projects at Jio, managing tower, fiber, and MCN/IS assets. Ashok also served as Project Director at Tata Projects, leading the BharatNet initiative in Chhattisgarh, and spent 15 years at Reliance Communications in various leadership roles, including Chief Technology Officer for Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Earlier positions include Head of Projects at Bharti Airtel Services and Deputy Manager in Network Engineering at Optel Telecommunications Ltd. Ashok holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology.
