Courtney Smith

Courtney Smith has worked at Jisc as a Finance Systems Technical Project Lead since January 2022. In this role, their responsibilities include leading and overseeing the implementation of the Finance Transformation Project workstreams, ensuring the successful operation and maintenance of the completed system. Prior to this, they worked as a Finance Systems Assistant at Jisc from September 2016 to January 2022. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining databases, managing user access privileges, and structuring data in financial and CRM systems. Before joining Jisc, Courtney worked as a Sales Advisor at Dorothy Perkins, Arcadia Ltd from March 2015 to September 2016.

Courtney Smith attended City of Bristol College, where they completed an Accounting Level 4 Professional Diploma in the field of Accounting. Before that, they studied at South Gloucestershire and Stroud College from 2018 to 2019, pursuing an AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting Level 3. In 2017-2018, Courtney obtained an Accounting (AAT2) Certificate Level 2 from City of Bristol College. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2016, they attended St Brendan's Sixth Form College and earned a BTEC Business Diploma. Additionally, during their time at St Brendan's Sixth Form College, they also studied Travel and Tourism as well as Use of Mathematics.
