Francois Laforge has a wealth of experience in the software industry. Francois began their career in 1999 as a Senior Programmer for Terra Axis. In 2000, they moved to Hyperchip as a PDM Specialist and Programmer. From 2002 to 2008, they worked as a Senior Programmer for Communications Voir. In 2008, they became a Consultant for Runes Technologies, and from 2010 to 2016 they worked for Télé-Québec as a Business Analyst and Senior Programmer, and Analyst. In 2016, they co-founded JITbase, where they currently serve as Head of Engineering. Their role at JITbase involves helping manufacturers gain human insights with their machine data.
Francois Laforge obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from McGill University in 1998. Francois then attended Technologia, but did not receive a degree. In 2021, they obtained a Digital Transformation in Manufacturing certification from Aveo Learning. In 2010, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Additionally, they have taken courses in Project Management from the School of Continuing Studies at McGill University.
