Donald J. Jackson

Donald J. Jackson has had a diverse range of work experience since 2020. Donald J. has worked as a Poll Worker for the Board of Elections in the City of New York, a Hospitality Talent for Jitjatjo, a Model for Koala Models, a Visitor Services Associate for Friends of the High Line, and an Experience Specialist for Color Factory. In 2021, they began working as an Educator and Experience Facilitator for the New York Transit Museum, a Fashion Researcher for The City University of New York, and a Museum Experience Ambassador/Fellow for the Queens Museum. In 2022, they began working as an Exhibition Writer for the Museum at FIT and a Writing and Speaking Consultant for the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Donald J. Jackson has an extensive educational background. Donald J. earned an Advanced Regents Diploma from Cairo-Durham High School in 2016. Donald J. then attended Hudson Valley Community College and obtained an Associate of Arts - AA in Liberal Arts and Humanities in 2017. From 2017 to 2019, they attended Queens College and obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Art History, Political Science: Law and Politics. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Arts - MA in Fashion and Textile Studies: History, Theory, Museum Practice (Curatorial Concentration) at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Additionally, they have obtained numerous certifications, such as a Disinfection Technician and Cleaning Fundamentals from Jitjatjo, a Confronting Sexual Harrassment: Tools and Strategies to Create a Harrassment-Free Workplace from the New York City Commission on Human Rights, and Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross.
