Mamie Raynaud has a long and varied work experience. Mamie began their career in 1996 as the Advertising Director at AsianWeek Newspaper, where they were in charge of business development, circulation, special advertising, direct marketing, and community outreach programs. In 1997, they took on the role of Western Regional Sales Manager at Softline Information, where they sold specialized CD-ROM databases with content covering ethnic press, alternative health, and women's studies. In 1998, they became the Senior Account Executive at Thomson Gale, managing a territory valued at $7M and responsible for all academic library sales in California, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, and Hawaii. In 2004, they moved to OVID Technologies as the Director of Sales, with a territory valued at more than $19M in revenue and 12 reports covering 25 US states. In 2007, they became the Director of Sales at Ebsco Publishing, in charge of consortia and large account sales within four southwest states: Arizona, California, Nevada, and New Mexico. In 2018, they took on the role of Designer Milliner at The Mad Duchess, and in 2020 they became the Head Of Institutional Sales at Jiveworld.

Mamie Raynaud began their educational journey at College of Alameda, where they earned an Associate of Arts - AA in Fashion/Apparel Design in 1991. Mamie then attended San Francisco State University, where they graduated with a BA in English in 1997. Finally, in 2013, Mamie completed their Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University, specializing in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
