Steven Schimmel

Steven Schimmel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering services, project management, and strategic planning. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering Services at JLL since October 2017, Steven manages teams to optimize asset lifecycle performance through data-driven models. Prior roles include Consulting at Growers Express, where Steven focused on developing data management tools for production planning, and founding Illucen, a startup aimed at sustainable agriculture through insect protein sourcing. Previous experience also includes a decade at CB Richard Ellis as Director of Global Energy & Sustainability, alongside analytical roles at Ashland Inc., IDX Systems Corporation, Intellimetrics Software, and InfoGenesis. Steven holds an MBA from IESE Business School and a BS in Industrial Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
