Hormuzd Billimoria

Hormuzd Billimoria has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Hormuzd currently holds the position of Senior Vice President at IIFL Wealth Finance Limited since September 2016. Prior to this, they worked at JM Financial as the Sr Vice President - Retail Credit Risk, starting from June 2006. Hormuzd also served as the Assistant Vice President at Refco-Sify Securities India Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai from July 2004 to June 2006. Before that, they were the Territory Manager – Capital Market Finance at Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Co. Ltd in Mumbai from August 2003 to July 2004. Hormuzd also had a family-owned business, Jals Detective and Protection Services, from January 1999 to July 2003. Lastly, they worked at Standard Chartered Bank as a Manager Credit for an extended period from 1991 to 1999.

Hormuzd Billimoria completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree in Accounting and Finance from Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics between 1981 and 1986. Hormuzd then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Finance and Financial Management Services (MMS) from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, graduating in 1991. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Hormuzd attended Activity High School from 1971 to 1981.
