Chitra Sharathchandra

Chitra Sharathchandra is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in analytics and machine learning, currently serving as the Lead Data Scientist at The J.M. Smucker Co. since July 2022. Prior to this role, Chitra worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Cedrus Digital, where responsibilities included leading a team to develop an analytics dashboard for a healthcare company, building predictive models for advertising campaigns, and publishing insights on machine learning topics. Chitra also completed a Data Science Fellowship at NYC Data Science Academy and began a career as a Software Developer at Carnegie Learning, with earlier experience as an intern at Flexable. Chitra holds a Master of Information Technology from Virginia Tech and a Master of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Arlington.
