Thomas Siner

Senior System Engineer at JMA Wireless

Thomas Siner has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Thomas started their career at AIC, Inc. in 1985 as a Programmer, where they developed hardware diagnostic software utilities. Thomas then joined Circuit City in 1990 as a Systems Programmer, focusing on embedded systems for point-of-sale applications. Thomas joined Divx in 1995 as a Senior Engineer, where they contributed to the design and development of a secure content viewing DVD set-top box.

In 2000, Thomas worked at both Cisco, Inc. and Philips Semiconductor as a Senior Engineer. At Philips Semiconductor, they specialized in the design and integration of cryptographic acceleration ICs.

Thomas joined Cinea, Inc. in 2002 as a Principal Engineer and played a key role in the development of security products for high-value audio/visual content. Thomas contributed to the encryption and key management for digital cinema content distribution and the design of secure content viewing devices. In 2004, Cinea, Inc. was acquired by Dolby Laboratories, Inc.

From 2008 to 2016, Thomas worked at Axxcelera Broadband Wireless as a Principal Engineer. Thomas'sresponsibilities included the development of products for wireless broadband markets, with a focus on WiMax and LTE technologies. Thomas specialized in embedded Linux software, device drivers, unit calibration, signal analysis, compliance, and system security.

Thomas's most recent position was at JMA Wireless, where they served as a Senior System Engineer starting in 2016. Additional details about their role are not provided.

Thomas Siner received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from James Madison University, where they studied from 1984 to 1988. In 2005, they attended Iowa State University and completed the Post-Grad Certificate Requirements in Information Assurance and Computer Engineering in 2008.
