Tony Masters

VP RAN System Architecture at JMA Wireless

Tony Masters has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Tony started their career at EG&G as a Lead Engineer from 1990 to 1996. Tony then joined Integrity Broadband Wireless as CTO/VP Engineering from 1997 to 2000, where they focused on cable modem solution development. From 2000 to 2002, Tony served as CTO and VP of Engineering at Spike Broadband Systems, overseeing the development, production, and deployment of fixed wireless access solutions. Tony then moved to REMEC as CTO, Fixed Wireless Access, from 2002 to 2004, where they established a new business unit and led the development of REMEC's FWA system. Tony's next role was at Axxcelera Broadband Wireless, where they served as Sr VP & CTO from 2004 to 2016. Tony was responsible for system architecture and led a global product development team, delivering LTE and WiMAX-based access solutions. Currently, Tony is working at JMA Wireless as VP RAN Performance Optimization Engineering, a position they have held since November 2019.

Tony Masters obtained their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Tony pursued their education at the institute from 1982 to 1990.
