Amit Kumar Dey is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in diabetology and critical care. Currently serving as an Advisory Council Member and ECP Council Member for the ACP India Chapter since July 2022, Amit also holds the position of Associate Editor at JMIR Publications since September 2023. With a significant tenure as a Consultant Diabetologist at Apollo Sugar Clinics Ltd. and Apollo Clinic since 2015, Amit has been pivotal in managing diabetes care. Prior roles include Physician & Critical Care In-Charge at Charnock Hospital and critical care registrar at Fortis Hospital. Academically, Amit holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Diabetes from the University of South Wales, a Post Graduate Diploma in Geriatric Medicine from Indira Gandhi National Open University, and a Fellowship in Intensive Care Medicine from Apollo Gleneagles Hospital.
