Matthew Hearsum

Matthew Hearsum FCIArb MIET is a Partner in Property Litigation and Leasehold Enfranchisement at JMW Solicitors LLP since July 2023, where advisory responsibilities encompass a range of contentious property matters including party walls, basement extensions, restrictive covenants, easements, rights to light, boundary disputes, and residential leasehold enfranchisement. Previously, Matthew held a similar position at Morr & Co LLP from September 2010 to July 2023, leading the Property Disputes team. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Building Surveying from the University College of Estate Management, an LL.B. from The University of Law, and various law and computer science degrees from institutions such as the University of Greenwich and Emanuel School, alongside additional qualifications in arbitration and higher rights of audience.
