Tanish Mendki

Tanish Mendki currently serves as the Laboratory Operations Manager and Undergraduate Researcher at Vision and Image Understanding Lab, UCSB, focusing on computational modeling of human behavior, cognition, and perception. Tanish is also a Software Engineering Intern at Docyt, responsible for data warehouse management and developing ETL processes, while writing automated scripts with Airflow. Additionally, Tanish is an Outreach Executive at Dhadkan and has volunteered as a writer and researcher at Jnana Prabodhini Foundation, specifically contributing to research on COVID-19’s societal impacts in India. Tanish is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychological and Brain Sciences and Statistics and Data Science at UC Santa Barbara, having previously studied Cognitive Science at UC San Diego and completed high school at Monta Vista High School.
