Amanda Kimball

Amanda Kimball has significant work experience in various roles. From 2014 to present, they worked at the Society for Neuroscience. In their role as Director of Digital Learning & Multimedia, they managed cross-functional projects and administered educational technology with a substantial budget. Amanda also supervised managers and specialists, and contributed to the design of global learning solutions. Amanda achieved cost savings by implementing cost-effective technologies. Prior to this role, from 2014 to 2018, they served as Sr. Manager, Digital Learning, where they expanded the member-only website and coordinated virtual events. Amanda also revamped the community platform to enhance member experience.

Before joining the Society for Neuroscience, Amanda worked at ATIS from 2012 to 2014 as a Committee Liaison. In this role, they facilitated communication between telecommunications committees, developed strategic plans, reviewed policies, and established industry standards. Amanda successfully negotiated to eliminate duplication of efforts and established mutually beneficial outcomes.

From 2007 to 2012, Amanda worked at The Moore Center. Amanda initially served as the Program Development Director, where they coordinated the delivery of home-based services and programs. Amanda formed coalitions of program directors to assess workforce needs and spearheaded strategic expansion into new states. Before this role, they were the Workforce Development Manager, responsible for hiring and retention programs, employee training, and compliance with regulations.

Amanda Kimball obtained their Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Mount Holyoke College in the years 2003 to 2007. Amanda furthered their education by pursuing a Master's degree in Public Health at The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health from 2016 to 2019. In April 2019, they obtained the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) certification from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.
