Alva Kiel

Alva Kiel has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2013, they started their career at AccorHotels, initially as a Graduate Management Trainee and later transitioned to the role of Sales and Conference Coordinator. In 2015, Alva joined Emergent as an Associate Consultant, where they worked until 2018. At Emergent, Alva gained valuable experience in consulting. In 2018, Alva joined JobAdder as an Implementation Consultant and worked in that role until early 2021. They then advanced to the position of Senior Implementation Consultant for a few months before becoming an Associate Product Manager in 2021. Currently, Alva holds the position of Product Manager at JobAdder, starting in January 2023.

Alva Kiel began their education at The University of Auckland in 2010 and completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology, Employment Relations & Organisation Studies in 2012. Apart from their undergraduate degree, Alva Kiel obtained multiple certifications in different fields. In 2018, they completed a certification in Project Management Foundations from LinkedIn. In 2020, they pursued further education in project management with a certification in Project Management: Beyond the Basics from The Open University. In 2021, Alva Kiel acquired various certifications including Introduction to User Experience Principles and Processes from the University of Michigan, Getting Started with Agile and Design Thinking from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, and Intermediate User Learning Path from JobAdder. Additionally, they completed a Product Management: Online (Foundations) certification from Academy Xi in November 2021. Most recently, in April 2023, Alva Kiel obtained a Product Analytics Certification from Pendo.io.
