Ryan Carroll

Ryan Carroll is currently the VP of Finance & Accounting at Jobble, but they didn't always work in finance. Ryan started their career at PwC in 2012 as a Senior Associate. In this role, they were responsible for executing a variety of analytical and qualitative tasks within assurance, with a focus on attention to detail and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment across a portfolio of clients. Some of Ryan's key responsibilities included taking the lead in planning and executing year-end audits over fair value hedge funds, private equity funds, alternative investment funds and tax basis clients; testing fair valuation inputs and discounted cash flow models to ensure appropriateness of estimates; reviewing and testing Limited Partnership, Limited Liability Company, and Asset Management Agreements for multiple clients ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the agreements in question; and planning, performing, and reviewing analytical and targeted testing procedures on balance sheet and income statement account balances of fair value and historical cost clients, including hedge funds, private equity, and alternative investment funds.

After two years at PwC, Ryan left to join Evans and Bennett LLP where they worked for two years before eventually landing at their current role at Jobble. At Jobble, Ryan is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's finances, from budgeting and forecasting to accounting and financial reporting. Ryan is also responsible for leading the finance team and working closely with other departments to ensure that all financial objectives are met.

Ryan Carroll received their Master’s Degree in Accountancy from Northeastern University and their Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from Northeastern University as well. Ryan is also certified by the New York State Education Department as a Certified Public Accountant.
