Steve Román

Steve Román has over 20 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Steve currently holds the position of Senior Director of Software Engineering at Jobcase, Inc. since September 2022. Prior to that, Steve worked at Metromile as a Senior Engineering Manager, where they built out the company's Growth and Mobile teams, managed a team of 17 individuals, and was responsible for hiring engineers. Steve also worked closely with product leaders in drafting annual roadmaps. Before joining Metromile, Steve worked at Silver Spring Networks as a Software Engineer and at HP Software as a Software Engineer, where they were involved in the design, development, and maintenance of software frameworks. Steve also has prior experience as a Software Engineer at Navic Networks and Avaya, where they designed and implemented various software solutions.

Steve Román attended Williams College from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science.
