Melissa Chehade

Melissa Chehade has been in the tech industry since 2020. Melissa began their career as a Core Team Member at the Google Developer Student Club - Lebanese American University (Byblos) in 2020. Melissa then became a Machine Learning Intern at BMW Group, where they researched, summarized and presented state-of-the-art papers related to traffic prediction and multi-agent path deconfliction, assembled a neural network architecture inspired from the state-of-the art papers, and prepared a baselines implementation for the previous traffic prediction models such as HA, ARIMA, VAR, SVR, DCRNN and STG2SEQ. In 2021, Melissa moved to dox Technologies Inc. as a Machine Learning Team Lead and Machine Learning Engineer. Most recently, in 2022, they joined JobDiva as a Software Engineer.

Melissa Chehade has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the Lebanese American University, which they obtained in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Lebanese Baccalaureate in General Sciences from the Collège des Sœurs de Sainte Thérèse - Amioun in 2017. In addition, Melissa has obtained several certifications, including AWS Machine Learning Foundations from Udacity in October 2021, Learning Python from LinkedIn in May 2021, ICT Professional Foundation Program from Ericsson in April 2021, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning from DeepLearning.AI in January 2021.
