Eric Grey

Eric Grey has a long and distinguished career in finance and operations. Starting in 2008, they were a Senior Manager of Business Development at CBS Corporation. Eric then moved on to Audible, Inc. in 2010, where they were Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for Digital Audiobooks and eCommerce. In 2012, they joined Trulia as Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for the Digital Media Division, and then moved on to Etsy in 2013, where they were Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. In 2016, they joined Zipcar as Head of Finance & Accounting and a Leadership Team Member, and then in 2019, they joined Embark Veterinary as VP of Finance and Operations. In 2020, they joined Temple Israel of Boston as an Audit Committee Member, and in 2022, they joined Jobox Connect as VP of Finance. Throughout their career, Eric has been responsible for standing up internal finance, accounting, tax, and treasury functions, creating processes from scratch, scaling processes in a transition from infant startup to mid-sized company, leading companies through multiple Holiday Seasons of triple-digit growth, overseeing all key aspects of finance and accounting, developing pricing strategies on a market-by-market basis to optimize revenue growth and market profitability, growing FP&A teams, overhauling forecasting infrastructure, shepherding companies through the growth and cultural challenges of adopting a formal annual planning process, building finance functions from scratch, owning planning, forecasting and reporting of the full Media P&L, implementing and iteratively improving forecasting processes, growing nascent businesses, directing business development processes end-to-end, and launching mobile product business lines.

Eric Grey has a diverse educational background. Eric obtained a High School Diploma from Avon Old Farms between 1990 and 1994, and during that time they also completed A-Levels in English, Eric'story and Physics at Giggleswick School. Eric then went on to get a BA in Economics from Georgetown University. Eric completed Graduate Coursework in Accounting at UMass Boston in 2018. Most recently, they obtained an MBA in Finance, Quantitative Finance and Entrepreneurship from NYU Stern School of Business. In addition to their formal education, Eric has obtained various certifications from institutions such as Coursera and AICPA.
