Roy Baladi

Roy Baladi has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Roy began their career at Citi, where they worked as a Derivatives Trader, Structurer, and Strategist from June 2006 to May 2010. Roy then joined LearnVest in February 2014 as a Product & Operations Manager, where they successfully scaled the company and reduced costs without affecting churn. In February 2011, Roy Co-founded FreshGrad, a career coaching platform that achieved significant success but eventually had to close down. From October 2014 to December 2020, Roy worked at SmartRecruiters, initially as a Senior Product Manager and later as the Head of Marketplace and Communications. In April 2021, they joined PerkSpot as the Chief Marketplace Officer, responsible for providing corporate benefit and discount programs to millions of employees. Most recently, Roy Baladi joined Jobs for Humanity in May 2020 as the CEO, where they lead a global movement to connect historically underrepresented talent with welcoming employers.

Roy Baladi attended Virginia Tech from 2001 to 2006, where they studied Computer Science with a focus in Finance and Math. In 2005, they participated in a Semester At Sea program with ISE, where they explored various parts of the world.
