David Soo

Vice President, Strategic Engagements at Jobs for the Future

David Soo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations. David started their career in 2005 as a Student Life Coordinator at Olin College of Engineering. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a State Policy Analyst at Complete College America. In 2011, Soo joined the U.S. Department of Education as a Policy Analyst and later became a Senior Policy Advisor, holding that position until 2019. Currently, they are Vice President, Strategic Engagements at Jobs for the Future (JFF), where they also served as Chief Of Staff from 2019 to 2022.

David Soo completed their education at various institutions. David attended Newton North High School, but the specific duration of their studies is unknown. In 1999, they enrolled at Boston College and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Communications in 2003. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Boston College, which they completed in 2005. Finally, they went on to earn a PhD in Higher Education from the University of Pennsylvania, completing their studies in 2011.
