Alex Marrero

Alex Marrero has a diverse work experience in software engineering and product specialist roles. They are currently employed at Joby Aviation as a Sr. Software Engineer since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Avionica, LLC where they held multiple positions including Software Engineering Manager from October 2020 to August 2022, Software Engineer II from February 2018 to October 2020, Software Engineer from August 2016 to February 2018, and Software Engineering Intern from June 2016 to August 2016. In 2014, Alex briefly worked as a Product Specialist at Trax USA Corp from February 2014 to October 2014.

Alex Marrero pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at the University of Southern California from 2009 to 2013. In November 2014, Alex obtained certification from NCEES for passing the FE Exam in the Mechanical Discipline. Additionally, in March 2012, Alex obtained the Certified SolidWorks Associate - Mechanical Design certification from Dassault Systèmes. Following this, in 2015, Alex pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Florida International University, which was completed in 2016.
