Hsun Chao

Hsun Chao's work experience includes a role as a Product Intelligence Data Scientist at Joby Aviation starting in October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and a Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue University from January 2016 to October 2022. In 2012, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Quantum Optics Lab, Physics Department of National Cheng Kung University and also had a research internship at the Institute of Atomic and Molecular Science, Academia Sinica.

Hsun Chao's education history begins with earning two Bachelor of Science degrees from National Cheng Kung University from 2009 to 2013. The first degree was in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General, while the second was in Physics. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University from 2014 to 2016. Subsequently, Hsun Chao continued their education at Purdue University and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from 2016 to 2021.
