Joseph Kohrman-Glaser has gained diverse work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Joseph currently holds the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer at Joby Aviation since July 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at the same company from May 2020 to July 2023.

Before joining Joby Aviation, Joseph worked at Boosted, Inc. as a Mechanical Design Engineer from February 2018 to March 2020. In this role, they were involved in the design and validation of electric skateboards and scooters. Joseph'sresponsibilities included leading the design and testing of Boosted's first forged aluminum skate trucks and serving as the lead mechanical design engineer for the Boosted Rev electronics control module. Joseph also worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Boosted, Inc. from December 2017 to February 2018.

Joseph co-founded First Design LLC in August 2017 and worked there as the Co-Founder and Mechanical Engineer until February 2020.

Joseph started their career as a Research Assistant at Yale School of Engineering and Applied Science in May 2014, where they contributed to the development of a multi-pollutant air quality monitor. Joseph designed and tested custom circuitry for high-performance air-quality sensors and created air-flow manifold prototypes to house the sensors. Joseph'stenure at Yale ended in June 2017.

Joseph also gained experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at SupplyBetter, Inc. from May 2014 to August 2014. In this role, they sourced custom mechanical parts for clients, evaluated CAD files for various manufacturing processes, developed company workflows, and identified new suppliers.

Joseph Kohrman-Glaser attended Yale University from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
