Kevin Funkhouser

Kevin Funkhouser has a diverse work experience in the fields of design and branding. Kevin is currently working as a Creative Director at Joby Aviation since May 2023. Prior to this, Kevin worked at Meta as a Staff Designer, Brand from March 2022 to May 2023, and as a Design Lead, Brand from June 2021 to April 2022. Kevin also held the position of Senior Art Director at Meta from January 2020 to June 2021. Before joining Meta, Kevin worked at Uber as a Senior Designer / Design Lead on the Global Brand Team from September 2016 to January 2020. Kevin was previously employed at IA Interior Architects as a Lead Experiential Graphic Designer from July 2015 to September 2016. Kevin's work experience also includes the role of Experiential Graphic Designer at Boulder Associates Architects from June 2012 to July 2015. Kevin briefly served as the Co-Director of Communications at AIGA Colorado in 2013. Kevin began their career at Urban Outfitters as a Display Artist from 2010 to May 2012. Kevin also worked as a Photo Retoucher at Oakley as a freelancer from 2008 to 2012 and as a Finish Carpenter at David Chase Construction in 2007.

Kevin Funkhouser earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing from Seattle Pacific University. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate education at Westmont College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters.
