Matt Field

Matt Field is currently the CFO at Joby Aviation. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer for Ford Motor Company's North American business from July 2000 to March 2021. In this role, they oversaw all financial aspects for the company, which has a revenue of $100 billion and 1,300 finance employees.

Field began their career as a Research Assistant at the U.S. Federal Reserve in January 1994, before moving to Goldman Sachs in January 1996, where they worked as a Research Associate until December 1998.

Matt Field's educational career includes completing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Swarthmore College and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.

Matt Field reports to Joeben Bevirt, Founder & CEO. Matt Field works with Keith Moss - CISO, Oliver Walker-Jones - Head of Marketing, Communications & Brand, and Didier Papadopoulos - Head of Aircraft OEM. and Ben Dobson - Head of Finance reports to Matt Field.
