Serena Mappa

Serena Mappa has work experience in various aviation roles. Serena started their career as a Flight Attendant at American Airlines in September 2013 and worked there until January 2022. In December 2021, they also worked as a Certified Flight Instructor for an unknown company. Beginning in January 2022, they are currently working as a Flight Operations Specialist at Joby Aviation. Prior to their aviation career, they worked as a Dive Master at PADI starting in June 2012.

Serena Mappa holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Family and Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences Business Services from Western Illinois University. In addition to their degree, Serena has obtained several certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration. These certifications include Aircraft Dispatcher, Aircraft Flight Instructor, Instrument Ground Instructor, Commercial Aircraft Pilot, and Flight Attendant. Serena received their Flight Attendant certification in November 2013, while they obtained the remaining certifications in 2021 and 2022.
