Shubham Agrawal

Shubham Agrawal has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical and test engineering. Shubham started their career as a Summer Intern at Larsen & Toubro, where they gained hands-on experience with Motor Protection and Feeder Protection Systems. Shubham also worked on PIC microcontrollers and MPLAB X IDE for display unit development.

Shubham then interned at INDIAN RAILWAYS, where they gained practical insight into the working, operation, and maintenance of Diesel Generators used in diesel-electric locomotives. Shubham also worked with the Electrical Drives design team.

After graduating, Shubham worked as a Graduate Intern at Dominion Virginia Power. Shubham then joined One Community Global as a Volunteer Engineer, contributing their engineering skills for the organization's projects.

Shubham further enhanced their skills by working as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Virginia Tech. During this time, they assisted in teaching and supporting various courses.

Shubham then joined DNV as an Electrical Test Engineer, where they prepared detailed test procedures for electrical/mechanical equipment based on industry standards. Shubham also managed test operators and technicians to successfully execute customers' test programs.

Their next role was at CESI SpA as an Electrical Test Engineer, where they performed various types of electrical, thermal, and dielectric testing on electrical T&D equipment. Their responsibilities also included following standards such as IEEE, IEC, ANSI/NEMA, UL, and CSA.

Currently, Shubham is working at Joby Aviation as a Powertrain and Electronics Test Engineer. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Test Engineer at the same company.

Shubham Agrawal has a strong educational background in the field of electrical engineering, with a focus on power and energy systems. Shubham obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree from Virginia Tech, where they studied from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2015.
