Thomas Kelly

Thomas Kelly has a diverse work experience in engineering and quality control roles. Thomas currently works as a Senior Composites Engineer at Joby Aviation since December 2022. Prior to this, they were the Engineering Manager, Materials & Processes at Virgin Galactic from June 2019 to January 2022. From January 2017 to June 2019, Thomas worked at The Spaceship Company as the Lead Materials and Process Engineer. Thomas also held various positions at The Spaceship Company, including Engineer, Materials & Processes, Associate Engineer, Materials & Processes/Large Scale Test, and Engineering Apprentice, Materials & Processes. Before this, Thomas worked as a Quality Assurance Quality Control Manager at the Toner Cartridge Testing Lab from June 2005 to August 2012, where they authored articles and performed life tests on laser and inkjet cartridges.

Thomas Kelly has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.
