Vignesh Prabhu

Vignesh Prabhu has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and robotics. In 2018, they worked as a RoS developer for the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, where they focused on automotive development using C++ and Gazebo. In 2020, they interned at Mack Trucks as a Training and Development Intern, where they worked on prototype development using CAD and implemented Design for Manufacturing (DFM) for additive manufacturing. Vignesh also researched the in-house development of Unity Engine Virtual Reality training. In 2021, they joined P3 as a Test Engineer, collaborating with teams in Germany, Mexico, and the USA on autonomous vehicle testing projects. Vignesh defined project goals, executed tests, and identified failure modes of the ADAS system. In the same year, they also worked at Caterpillar Inc. as an Electric Systems Validation Engineer. Currently, in 2022, they are employed as an Electro Mechanical Engineer - Electric Propulsion at Joby Aviation.

Vignesh Prabhu completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat Technological University (GTU) from 2014 to 2018. Following this, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University from 2018 to 2020.
