Wally Seubert

Wally Seubert has over 25 years of work experience in the engineering and software field. Wally is currently the Head of Software at Joby Aviation, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this role, they worked for Collins Aerospace as the Director of Engineering from March 2022 to June 2023. From July 2019 to June 2023, they held the position of Sr Director of Engineering, Business and Regional Aircraft at Collins Aerospace.

Before their time at Collins Aerospace, Wally worked at Rockwell Collins where they held several senior leadership roles. Wally was the Sr Director of Flight Controls and Cabin Systems Engineering from May 2017 to June 2023, the Director of Flight Controls Engineering from July 2015 to June 2023, and the Principal Engineering Manager from March 2011 to June 2023. Prior to joining Rockwell Collins, they worked at Trane as a Software Architect from 2000 to 2005, and at Watlow as a Software Engineer from 1996 to 2000. Wally's work experience also includes roles as a Senior Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer at Rockwell Collins from 2005 to 2011 and as a Software Architect at Trane from 2000 to 2005.

Wally Seubert completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics at Winona State University from 1992 to 1997. Wally further pursued their education and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse between 2004 and 2010.
