Martin Chamberlin has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in education and data management. Currently serving as a Substitute High School Teacher for Loudoun County Public Schools since January 2021, Martin has also contributed to The Jockey Club as a specialist in Equibase charts and statistics since 1996. Previous roles include Manager of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing at the Society for Human Resource Management from 1999 to 2014, and Software Application Systems Lead Analyst at the American Nurses Association from 1992 to 1999. Martin is currently engaged in course auditing at George Mason University and holds a Bachelor's degree from Rutgers University.

The Jockey Club, founded in 1894 and dedicated to the improvement of Thoroughbred breeding and racing, is the breed registry for North American Thoroughbreds. In fulfillment of its mission, The Jockey Club, directly or through subsidiaries, provides support and leadership on a wide range of important industry initiatives, and it serves the information and technology needs of owners, breeders, media, fans and farms.
