Catherine Cecere has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Catherine is currently (as of June 2023) the Managing Director of the Learning & Management Practice at Joffe Emergency Services. Prior to this, they held positions within the same company as the Director of Partnerships & Client Success, Interim Director of School Health Services, Director of Special Projects, and Operations Consultant.

Before joining Joffe Emergency Services, Catherine worked at IDEA Public Schools as the Regional Director of Operations in 2021. Catherine also gained extensive experience at KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools, where they served as the Senior Director of Operations from 2019 to 2021, Senior Manager of Operations from 2016 to 2019, and Student Services Manager from 2014 to 2016.

Earlier in their career, Catherine worked as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher at Duval County Public Schools from 2012 to 2014. Catherine also served as a Corps Member at Teach For America during the same period.

Additionally, Catherine has interned at Students Active for Ending Rape (SAFER) as a Social Justice Writing Intern, Four Winds Hospital as a Psychology Intern, and Planned Parenthood of the Rochester/Syracuse Region as a Community Affairs Intern.

Catherine Cecere has a bachelor's degree in Psychology from SUNY Geneseo, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Catherine then pursued a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of West Florida, graduating in 2015. Catherine also completed the Core: Credential of Readiness program at Harvard Business School Online in 2015. In addition, they studied Spanish Language and Literature at Universitat de Barcelona for a brief period in 2010. Catherine has obtained several certifications, including a Professional Teaching Certificate from The Florida Department of Education in 2014, a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certification from YogaRenew (to be obtained in 2023), Youth Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing (obtained in November 2023), and Online CPR/AED and First Aid Combo Course from HSI (obtained in May 2023).
