Theo Bloemsma

Theo Bloemsma has extensive experience in project management and engineering, primarily within the civil construction sector. Currently serving as Manager Projects at Mourik Infra BV since November 2007, Theo contributed significantly to the A2 Hooggelegen Utrecht project utilizing an Alliance contract model from 2007 to 2013. Prior to this role, Theo worked as a project manager at Gebr. van Kessel BV, a subsidiary of VolkerWessels, from May 1996 to November 2007. Earlier experience includes serving as a superintendent at Mourik Groot-Ammers BV, overseeing various projects including enhancements for Nederlandse Spoorwegen and municipal infrastructure in Gouda, as well as environmental remediation for Shell. Initial experience included a superintendent role at Boskalis, focusing on dredging projects in Guyana. Educational qualifications include a degree in Economische Bedrijfstechniek from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and a degree in Civil Engineering from Noordelijke Hogeschool Leeuwarden.
