Melina Cruz

Melina Cruz is a dedicated professional with a strong background in service learning, advocacy, and administrative support. Currently serving as a Colleran-Weaver Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow and Student Liaison at John Carroll University, Melina facilitates meaningful service-learning experiences while advocating for social justice issues, particularly in immigration. Previous roles include Internships with the City of Cleveland Prosecutor's Office and the Hola Hispanic Community Center, where Melina focused on domestic violence case data entry and bilingual outreach programs, respectively. With experience as a Barista at Starbucks and a Data Analyst for the Ignatian Solidarity Network, Melina has honed skills in customer service, event planning, and data organization. Melina holds a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from John Carroll University and has also earned credits at Lakeland Community College.
