Maria Carolina V. Dominguez has extensive experience in the field of trade finance and global banking. Maria Carolina V. started their career at Citibank, where they held various roles such as Management Trainee, Summer Associate, Manager, and Vice President. During their time at Citibank, they successfully built and managed trade finance relationships, developed marketing strategies, and generated significant revenues for the company.

In 2002, they became the President and CEO of John Clements Consultants, Inc., where they led the company in becoming a prominent recruitment and human resources services firm in the Philippines. Under their leadership, the company became a preferred choice for BPO-related HR services.

Maria's expertise and experience have also led their to hold positions as an Independent Director in PUEBLO DE ORO DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION and Insular Health Care, Inc., as well as a Director in Pueblo de Oro Golf and Country Club. Additionally, they are a Profesorial Lecturer at the Cesar E.A. Virata School of Business - University of the Philippines Diliman.

Maria Carolina V. Dominguez has a diverse education history. In 1980 to 1984, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of the Philippines. Following that, from 1987 to 1989, they pursued a Masters in Management degree at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, specializing in Marketing and Finance. In 2012, they completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. Maria Carolina V. attended several short-term programs, including Breakthrough Insights at Harvard Business School in 2013 and the BTI-INSEAD Global Leadership Programme at INSEAD in 2017. In 2021, they participated in the Competing in the Age of AI program at Harvard Business School. Currently, Maria Carolina V. Dominguez is preparing to become a Corporate Board Director with a program at Harvard Business School, commencing in 2022.
