Ruben Álvarez

Ruben Álvarez is Executive Vice President, GeoMarkets covering both OEM and End User customers where he is responsible for sales, repair and services around the world.

Since joining John Crane in 1998, Ruben has held several management roles including Managing Director for John Crane Iberica and John Crane Western Europe, as well as Managing Director of John Crane MEA and Vice President and General Manager of John Crane’s upstream oil services business. Most recently, Ruben served as Vice President of John Crane’s First Fit Business, where he held global responsibility for the First Fit, OEM and Engineering, Procurement and Construction customer business.

Ruben holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from University of Central Florida and an MBA in International Management from European University of Toulouse, France. He also successfully completed the International Executive Management Program and the Corporate Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.
