Barry Winkler

Barry Winkler has extensive experience in intellectual property law, currently serving as Intellectual Property Counsel at John Deere since June 2014. Previous roles include Associate Patent Attorney at Brouse McDowell, LPA, where responsibilities included drafting and prosecuting patent and trademark applications, as well as providing legal opinions. Barry has also worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Charles Schwab and as a Patent Attorney at Emerson, Thomson & Bennett. Earlier career experiences include positions as an IP Law Clerk at both Emerson, Thomson & Bennett and Brouse McDowell, and staff technology solutions at Charles Schwab. Barry holds a JD in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Akron School of Law and a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Akron.
