Brett Leighton

Brett Leighton is an experienced leader in digital risk management and cybersecurity, currently serving as Director of Digital Risk Management at John Deere since June 2018. With a strong background in governance, Brett oversees the management of over 5000 digital assets and an enterprise GRC platform. Previously, Brett held roles as Information Security Manager and Risk & Controls, significantly contributing to financial services risk management. In addition to responsibilities at John Deere, Brett serves as Branch Chief for Cyber Operations at the Iowa Air National Guard and was recently a CISA Cyber Innovation Fellow. Brett's professional foundation includes positions at ConAgra Foods and the United States Air Force, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and an Associate's degree in Information Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
